Royal blue enameling set with marcasites surrounding a pearl. Can be

Fun late twenties, early thirties Fahrner flower basket pendant set
with a blue topaz paste, marcasites, and turquoise and accented with

Fahrner Art Deco Matte Enamel Coral 935 Brooch
This Art Deco Fahrner period brooch, circa 1927, features matte enamel
and coral in the Oriental style. The brooch measures 2 inches by just
under 3/4 of an inch. The brooch has it's original clasp and is marked
TF 935. Condition is very good with some light wear (light chipping)
at several of the edges. This could easily be touched up by a
professional, I'll leave that decision up to the buyer.

Chrysophrase Foliate Silver Bracelet Very unusual and hard
to find circa 1910-15 bracelet. I have seen pendants and brooches in
this style, but not a bracelet. The bracelet measures 7 5/8ths inches
by just over 5/8ths of an inch and is marked TF, 935, Germany and sterling.
One connecting ring has been replaced and the clasp has some wear.
Overall, the condition is very good and there is no damage to the plaques or

Vintage Frosted
Crystal Diamond Sapphire 14k Demi-Parure This gorgeous 1940's
demi-parure features frosted crystal, diamonds and cabochon sapphires.
The earrings are carved into the shape of a flower and have a flower center
with cabochon sapphire petal, a diamond center , and diamond set
stems. The earrings measure just over 1 inch by 3/4 of an inch and
have a patent mark (#2400513) and are marked 14k. The brooch features
a carved frosted crystal plaque, a sapphire and diamond set flower in the
center with the edges of the brooch accented with diamonds and two
rectangular set sapphires. The brooch measures 1 5/8ths inches by 3/4
of an inch. The clasp is an older safety clasp. The brooch is
unmarked and is guaranteed to be 14k. Condition is very good for this
lovely and very hard to find period demi-parure.

Vintage Frosted
Crystal Diamond Pearl 14k Necklace This elegant necklace is
done in the Art Deco style and features a frosted crystal (glass) plaque
accented with a white gold flower basket set with diamonds and pearls.
The center part of the necklace measures 1 1/2 inches by 1 inch with the
necklace measuring approximately 18 1/2 inches.. The chain is set with
pearls and the unusual clasp is marked 14k. The patent number on the
clasp dates this necklace to about 1967. Over the years, I have seen
many of the Art Deco period pieces with frosted and camphor glass and this
is one of the loveliest I have ever seen. The diamonds are cut in the
old style. Condition is excellent.

Art Deco Matte Enamel
Coral Sterling Bracelet This classic Art Deco period
bracelet features blue matte enamel flowers with coral centers very much in
the style of Theodore Fahrner. The bracelet measures 7 1/2 inches by
just under 3/4 of an inch. The bracelet is marked 935 and several
undecipherable maker's marks and hallmarks. The center coral stone is
missing and has been repaired in the past with enamel and is not noticeable
unless you look closely. This is an easy replacement by a good
jeweler. Overall condition is very good for this very hard to find
period bracelet.

enameled daisies with black accents on the end of each link. The
bracelet is circa 1920-30 and measures 7 1/8ths inches by 3/16ths

contemporary enameled David Anderson piece is circa 1960-70. The
enamel is shaded and varies in color from dark blue to aqua. The
pendant is quite large and measures just under 3 3/4 inches by 2 3/8ths
inches and is marked David Anderson, sterling and INV.B.S.O (design by Bjorn
Sigurd Ostern). The pendant is on it's original chain as it is also
signed D-A , 925 S and the Anderson hallmark (the balance). The chain

Pearl Butterfly Choker
This lovely choker features enameled butterflies accented with
blue pastes and seed pearls with a row of fresh water pearls at the top and
bottom of the necklace. The work is this costume piece is very
detailed and very well done. The gemstone section of the choker
measures 12 1/4 inches by just under 1 1/8ths inches. Chain at each
end adds almost another 2 inches to make the choker adjustable. More
chain could easily be added if necessary. This piece is quite striking
on.

Enameled Perfume Brooch This lovely vintage brooch (circa
1910-20) features a perfume (beautifully enameled lily of the valley
flowers) in the shape of a watering can suspended from a yellow bow.
The brooch measures 2 1/4 inches by just over 1 1/4
inches and is marked 925 S and the mark for Gustav Hellstrom. The
clasp is original. There is one very tiny area of wear to the enamel
on the bottom of the bow. Condition is very good with very light
surface wear.

Enameled Roses and
Ribbon Silver Compact This fun period compact that was most
likely used to hold rouge and is enameled with pink roses, lavender ribbons
with a pale green background. The back is also enameled (plain) and
the compact measures 1 1/2 inches in diameter (excluding ring and loop).
The compact is silver and even though the marks are quite worn, they are
present with the inside having a gold wash. Condition of the enamel is
very good with only very light surface.

Sterling Minaudiere This lovely Art Deco minaudiere features an
enameled flower basket on a light aqua blue background with a black border.
The inside include a mirror, a lipstick holder and a place for a puff and
rouge. The minaudiere measures just under 3 1/8ths inches by 1 7/8ths
inches and is 1 inch wide. The back is marked sterling and there are
several very light areas of wear. The front has light surface wear.

Art Deco Enameled Rose
Marcasite Sterling Ring Stunning and most unusual period ring.
I have seen a many Deco rings, but not one like this. The ring
measures just under 1 1/4 inches by 7/8ths inches across the top and is
marked sterling and Germany. The ring is a size 7 1/2. The
enamel is in very good condition and all the marcasites are present.
There are three very ting small black dots near the rim that are not
noticeable and mentioned only for accuracy.

Enameled Iris Sterling Brooch This lovely enameled brooch
is by Starve Gregor Panis, a silversmith active until 1974. His pieces
usually feature hand hammered flower and nature motifs. This piece is
very unusual in that it is an enameled piece. The brooch measures 1
9/16ths of an inch in diameter and is marked Stavre Gregor Panis (SGP) and
sterling. The enamel is in very good condition with a few light areas
of wear that look original to the piece. Condition is very good.

Edwardian/Art Deco
Amethyst Pearl Enamel Suffragette Sterling Pendant Simple
but elegant piece that is hard to date. This piece could have been
made anytime between 1910 and the late 1930's. Delicate lavender
flowers are accented with six pearls surrounding an oval amethyst.
Green enameled leaves frame the oval amethyst and the outer frame is
enameled in black. Very minor wear to the enamel on the leaves and
overall condition of necklace is very good. I have not made any
attempt to clean this as most prefer the original patina. There is one
small dark spot on the bottom pearl. Marked Germany and sterling and
measures 1 1/2 inches (not including the bail) by 7/8ths of an inch.
Chain is original and measures 14 1/2 inches.

Sterling Bracelet This fun Art Deco period bracelet
features a snake with sterling scales and green paste eyes. This is a
very wearable bracelet and will easily fit a medium to large wrist.
Total length of snake from nose to tail is approximately nine inches (width
at head is just under 1/2 of an inch). There is light wear on the
head. The scales are in very good condition and I can see only part of
one scale missing. Condition for this fun piece is very good.

Egyptian Revival
Carved Scarab Silver Demi-Parure This wonderful Egyptian
Revival (circa 1920) demi-parure features carved scarab gemstones with
silver leaf bezels accented with a clasp featuring an Egyptian Byzantine
Style Woman. The carved scarabs (front and back) feature various
types of carved agates and quartz. One of the scarabs in both the
bracelet and necklace is Egyptian faience (a non clay quartz ceramic
product). The necklace measures 16 inches by 15/16ths of an inch.
The bracelet measures 7 1/2 inches by 7/8ths of an inch. Both pieces
are unmarked (typical for this design) and are guaranteed to be at least 800
silver. At some time, the necklace has had extra chain added to make
it a more wearable length. The necklace could easily be returned to
the original length if desired. The faience scarab on the
necklace has a small area of wear on the right side. Condition is very
good. This is a very striking demi-parure and one that is not easily
found.

Revival demi-parure features faience scarabs set in sterling bezels.
Faience is a non clay quartz ceramic product. The necklace measures 17

Piel Freres Egyptian
Revival Buckle This is a fun and hard to find period
buckle, circa 1910, by the well know French firm Piel Freres. The
buckle features scarabs and lotus blossoms and has all it's original
fittings. The buckle measures 4 inches by 2 1/4 inches and is
marked Piel Freres (PF). The buckle is either a base metal with a
brass gilt or brass. I have not attempted to clean the buckle and
leave that up to the new owner.

Chinese Painted Ivory
Vermeil Bracelet This lovely period Chinese bracelet, circa
1920-30, features four oval plaques of ivory painted in the scrimshaw style
with a lovely design of a bird sitting in a flowering tree. The ivory
plaques are surrounded by elaborate wirework and each plaque has a styled
butterfly on each side of the frame. The clasp sections feature
filigree flowers and leaves. The bracelet measures 7 inches by 1 inch
and is vermeil (gold wash over silver). The clasp is in good working
order and there is also a safety chain. Overall condition is very
good. The ivory plaques have some minor color loss due to normal wear,
but it is uniform and only ads to the charm of the bracelet.

Ritchie Viking Ship Brooch This fun vintage Iona brooch was
designed by Alexander Ritchie. This brooch was first made about 1905
and was in production for a number of years after that. This brooch
was made in 1936. The brooch measures just over 1 1/2 inches by just
under 1 1/8ths inches. The back is marked Iona, A.R. (for Alexander
Ritchie), hallmarks for Birmingham, sterling and the date code for 1936.

970 Silver Earrings These strikingly modern vintage Antonio
Pineda earrings feature a large teardrop shaped amethyst stone.
The earrings measure just over 1 1/4 inches by 3/4 of an inch and are marked
Antonio Pineda, 970, Taxco and 58. One of the amethysts has a couple
of light scratches (visible only with a loupe) and both amethysts have the
natural fissures associated with these stones. The earrings have the

entwined winged serpents (Quetzalcoatl) hanging from two serpent heads very

This is a newer bracelet that has very much an Arts and Crafts feel was made
by Erika Hult de Corral. The bracelet measures 1 1/4inches wide by 7

the spread eagle mark for Taxco sterling. The stones look to be a type
of jade and are a lovely shade of mossy green. One stone looks to have

Horse Sterling Brooch This striking large vintage brooch
features a hand hammered horses' head. This piece has an Art Deco feel
and is quite large measuring 2 5/8ths inches by just over 1 5/8ths inches.
The back is marked sterling and the clasp is an older style "C" clasp.
Condition is very good for this fun period brooch. This brooch is very
similar to the George Jensen horse brooch and is done in the same style.

pendant features a lovely lady with a snake wrapped around her nude body.

The glass has some air bubbles and light wear on the edges. The
setting is gold filled and is in good condition. The chain is marked
1/20 12k (gold filled). Condition is very good. This is a most
unusual pendant and one I have not seen before.

Paste Spider 935 Silver Brooch This wonderful Art Deco
brooch features a spider set with sapphire and clear pastes. This
spider brooch is modeled after the European garden spider which also has a
cross on it's abdomen. The brooch measures 1 5/8ths inches by 1 3/8ths
inches. The brooch is marked 935 (silver) and KP for Knoll Pregizer.
The original "C" clasp is in good working order. All stones are
present and have good color. The brooch is in very good condition.

Art Deco Knoll Pregizer
Paste Sterling Necklace This striking Art Deco necklace is
made by the well known German firm of Knoll Pregzier. The large
emerald cut topaz paste is accented with row of clear pastes alternating
with black baguette pastes. The chain is set with clear pastes.
The pendant part of the necklace measures 1 9/16ths of an inch by just under
3/4 of an inch. The length of the necklace is 17 inches. The
necklace is marked KP (for Knoll Pregizer), sterling and Germany in two
different places. At some point the clasp has been replaced.
Part of the clasp is there and I suspect the other part broke. This necklace
could stand a cleaning and I leave that decision to the new owner. The
pastes have uniformly aged. Condition is very good.

Art Deco Fruit Salad
Sterling Necklace This striking Art Deco necklace is done
in the style of the very popular Cartier pieces of the period. The
necklace features colored molded glass fruit and leaves accented with clear
pastes and filigree insets. The drop section of the necklace measures
2 inches by 7/8ths of an inch with the chain measuring just over 16 inches.
The chain features baguette pastes with filigree sections. The
necklace is signed sterling and a maker's mark I am not familiar with (looks
like the letter B in a circle). Some of the pastes have yellowed,
however the yellowing is uniform and does not detract from the lovely
design. Overall condition is very good for this most unusual period
necklace.

Fishel Necklace This gorgeous Art Deco necklace features clear
pastes in a very elaborate sterling setting. The necklace measures 16
1/4 inches and has it's original clasp that is marked Fishel and sterling.

inches. Overall condition is very good with no damage or repairs.
There is some minor discoloration of the stones that is consistent with the

Aquamarine Paste Marcasite Sterling Pendant This striking
pendant features a line of emerald cut aquamarine pastes in a classic Art
Deco design highlighted with marcasites. The pendant measures 2 1/2
inches (including the bail) by 1 1/4 inches. The style and quality of
work is very reminiscent of Theodore Fahrner. The back is marked
sterling and Ger (the brooch fittings cover the rest of the mark). At some
point a brooch fitting was added to the back. I was going to have the
brooch fitting removed and then I realized that this piece made a pretty
cool brooch when worn upside down, so I decided to leave that decision to
the the new owner. Condition is very good.

Sterling Necklace This lovely Art Deco necklace features
molded glass in two colors, carnelian and jade. This piece was most
likely done to mimic carved jade and carnelian as the Oriental style was a

Style Lady and Stars Green Paste Necklace This piece is a
bit hard to date, but is lovely none the less. The necklace features
green glass pastes alternating with the lady and star plaques. The
chain measures 30 inches by 1/2 of an inch. The necklace is unmarked.
The pastes have normal wear and overall condition is very good with no
damage or repairs. There is one section where there are two green
pastes together and another where there are two plaques together. It
would be quite easy to move the pieces and I will leave this to the new

Charm Bracelet Now this bracelet probably has a few stories
to tell... circa 1950 and was made to commemorate either Perry Como or the
Bing Crosby show that Chesterfield sponsored on both radio and TV in the
early 1950's. The bracelet features Bing Crosby, Perry Como and Arthur
Godfrey and a pack of Chesterfield cigarettes. The backs of the Chesterfield
charm is marked N.A.T.D., Chicago, 1950. The other charms have the
names of each performer on the back. The bracelet measures 7 inches
and the catch is marked sterling. Each charm measures 3/4 of an inch

five beautifully engraved dimes with dates from 1881. Four of the five
engraved dimes are enameled. The dimes measure 3/4 of an inch in

large wrist. The dimes date from 1876 and 1877. The bracelet is
unmarked. The dimes are coin silver and have been soldered onto the

(circa 1940) sterling heart bracelet features a combination of antique and
vintage hearts. The antique hearts include "Bee My Honey" (a rebus
heart), a shamrock/horseshoe, wishbone and two hearts featuring a double
heart pierced with an arrow. The vintage hearts include an enameled
fox and grapes, two enameled horseshoes, fleur-de-lis, pansy,
sunflower/daisy, stars, amethyst paste set heart, several with flowers and
leaves, and several double sided hearts. The hearts range in size from
small to large with most being the normal size, 11/16ths inches by 9/16ths
of an inch. Many of the backs are beautifully engraved with the
following names: Martha, Mildred, Fay, Totie, Debs, Merlyn, Sarah,
Mama, Edna, Jack, Lottie, Elsie, Joy, Moger, and the following initials-

This fun antique (circa 1900-1910) sterling heart bracelet features an owl,
deer, rose, horseshoe, and a shamrock in a horseshoe. The hearts measure

engraved with the following initials: J.L.C., A.J.J., J.M.P., P.E.M., P.L.,

Sterling Heart Bracelet This fun vintage (circa 1940)
sterling heart bracelet features two enameled hearts. The enameled
hearts are the blue calla lily and the small enameled flower heart.

nice hearts with scroll type patterns. The hearts range in size from

heart charm and a heart shaped lock. Two of the hearts are enameled (a

11/16ths of an inch by 9/16ths of an inch with the larger heart measuring

Sterling Heart Bracelet with Walter Lampl Heart Lock This
interesting bracelet features a Victorian heart locket and chain to which
hearts from the 1940's have been added. Two of the hearts are the
larger hearts from the 1940's and the heart lock is made by Walter Lampl.
The bracelet measures 6 5/8ths inches in length and will fit a smaller
wrist. The larger Victorian heart locket is accented with daisies and
measures 1 1/4 inches by just under 1 1/8ths of an inch. The two
larger hearts measure approximately 7/8ths of an inch by 3/4 of an inch and
the three smaller hearts measure 5/8ths of an inch by 1/2 of an inch.
The Walter Lampl heart lock measures 3/4 of an inch by 1/2 of an inch.
One of the hearts is nicely engraved with the name Ann. The large
heart locket has a light crease on the back and does not have it's metal
inserts. All of the hearts are marked sterling and the bracelet is
unmarked. One of the larger hearts has a few small areas of

rare Victorian rebus heart charm with an owl and the word acquaintance to
symbolize "owld acquaintance" (auld acquaintance, from "Auld Land Syne").

marked sterling. This heart has some condition issues as it looks to
have teething marks (typical of many Victorian hearts) made by a child.

very hard to find rebus Victorian heart features the popular sentiment
"Forget Me Not" with both the words and flowers. "Forget Me Not"
charms are one of the most common of heart charms. This version,
however, is one that is very hard to find and is part of a series that
includes the following rebus hearts: "You'r My Peach", "You'r My
Dear", "You'r my Daisy", "You'r My Rose", and "You Are the Apple of my Eye".

"Uncle Doc" This Victorian enameled rebus heart charm is
one that is rarely seen. In over twenty five years of collecting
heart, I have only seen this heart a couple of times. The heart

most likely a commemorative for the gold rush in the California or the silver rush in
Colorado. In all my years of collecting hearts, I have only seen this

Convention Hall Sterling Heart Charm This interesting charm
is hard to date. The Kansas City Convention Hall was built in 1899 and
was destroyed by fire just before the city was to host the Democratic
Convention in 1900. The hall was rebuilt in just ninety days and was ready for
the convention in July. I suspect this heart charm was made to
commemorate that effort (called the Kansas City Spirit). The
convention hall was torn down in 1936. The heart charm is flat and measures

There are some very small areas of light wear on the edges of the black

I have never seen before, the "Bundles for Britain" sterling heart charm and
brooch combination. The "Bundles for Britain" campaign was a
charitable relief effort by US citizens (headed by Natalie Latham) to send
relief items (at first hand knitted clothing, later supplies) to aid Britain
during WWII. The brooch/heart combination measures just under 2 inches
by 3/4 of an inch. The front of the heart reads "England is dear to my
heart". The back of the lion brooch is marked sterling, Bundles for
Britain INC. The heart charm measures 5/8ths of an inch by 11/16ths of
an inch. The back of the heart is marked "Bundles for Britain Inc."
